All are welcome to worship and celebrate life together!
Communion is shared the first Sunday of each month. Without exception, all are welcome at Christ's table.
Children of all ages are welcome to participate in worship. For those who prefer, nursery care is available for children up to age three.
Following a special time with children during worship, children from age 3 to 6th grade are invited into Sunday School. Visiting children are always welcome to join.
It is our hope that all who gather will find refreshed strength and meaning as we experience God's presence in community.
On Wednesday, a group of us from church are heading south...
We'll meet up with other UCC folk in Tucson, and share a few days of up close heart felt learning. We'll sit in on 'operation streamline' immigration hearings; gather at the border where security fences run through the Tohono O'odham nation and separate ancestral land and citizens; visit the Santa Cruz River to witness the impact of the barriers on the land; walk a bit of the dry, rocky desert those who are heading north -- asylum seekers in search of a safe dwelling place and a little peace; talk with Good Samaritans offering sustenance; light candles in the night in a vigil at one of the detention centers; gather for workshops offered by the SOA Watch...
And in the face of division we'll celebrate. In the face of today's rhetoric that seeks to separate us, we'll pass the bread and cup through the slats in the wall and give thanks for this precious life and affirm that we are all caught up in God.
Hold us in your prayers...
We'll have stories to tell when we get home.
