Details of coming events.
1.) CELEBRATING 140 YEARS!
Mankato, First Congregational Church UCC RALLY SUNDAY on Sunday,
September 12th, 2010 - Worship Service at 9:30 a.m. with Sunday School
for children. A short historical program will follow the service.
Immediately following the program, please join us in the Fellowship Hall
for an Old Fashioned Sunday Chicken Dinner: Chicken, Mashed Potatoes &
Gravy, Lettuce Salad, Hot Vegetables, Fresh Bakery Rolls, Apple Pie &
Ice Cream, Beverages. (*Free will donations appreciated.)
2.) TIME TO SIGN UP FOR PRIDEFEST 2010
First Church will be participating in the 2010 Mankato Pridefest on
Saturday, September 11. Volunteers are needed to work a one hour shift
at the festival in Riverfront Park from 12:noon until 5:00 p.m. We also
need you to show your support in the pride parade starting at 11:15 a.m.
The parade will begin in the Orthodontics parking lot behind the Blue
Earth County Library and march up Riverfront Drive into the new
Riverfront Park. A sign-up sheet for both the parade and the booth will
be on the Narthex bulletin board. If you have any questions, please

3.) ANOTHER HABITAT FOR HUMANITY (HFH)
WORK DAY SCHEDULED
The date for our next HFH work date will be Saturday, September 18th.
The work will be done in St. Peter this time. We need four people to
sign up.
